Irene Cefaro

Irene Cefaro (born August 31, 1935 in Rome ) is an Italian former actress .

Life

Cefaro took part in beauty pageants and was voted "Miss Rome" in one of the Miss Italia primaries in 1952, which drew the attention of film producers to her. She received her first engagement for Milton Krims ' Il maestro di Don Giovanni and showed her acting talent in the only five years of her career. She played u. a. a Fiorentine girl in the chronicle of poor lovers , for Federico Fellini in Die Schwindler , for Giuseppe De Santis in Uomini e lupi and with carefree the enthusiastic daughter of the station master Totò in Destinazione Piovarolo . In 1959, Cefaro initially turned to theater work for a short time, but then, after disappointing results, devoted himself exclusively to the family.
