Irina Petrovna Russanova

Irina Petrovna Russanowa (Russian Ирина Петровна Русанова , born April 22, 1929 in Moscow , † October 22, 1998 in Moscow) was a Russian archaeologist . She was a doctor of history and worked at the Archaeological Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR , later the Russian Academy of Sciences . She researched and published especially on the early Slavic archeology.

Irina Russanowa was married to the archaeologist Boris Anissimowitsch Timoschtschuk.
