Irmtraud Götz von Olenhusen

Irmtraud Götz von Olenhusen (born October 4, 1952 in Celle ) is a German historian . She has held the Chair for Modern and Contemporary History at the Institute for History at the University of Düsseldorf since 2002 .

Götz von Olenhusen studied history, philosophy and German in Berlin and Freiburg . Her doctorate took place in 1983 in history at the University of Freiburg. There she completed her habilitation in 1992.
