Irmtraut Munro

Irmtraut Munro (* 1944) is a German Egyptologist at the University of Bonn and one of the leading scientists in research on the Book of the Dead. She worked on the Bonn Book of the Dead project there . As part of this project, she has published numerous ancient Egyptian books of the dead that were not previously published systematically. Since the 18th Dynasty ( New Kingdom ), the ancient Egyptian Book of the Dead has been one of the characteristic features of this culture.
