Isaac Goldberg

Isaac Goldberg (* 1887 in Boston ; † July 14, 1938 ) was an American Romanist , Hispanist, Lusitanist, Americanist, literary scholar, music writer, journalist, translator and polygraph.

life and work

Goldberg graduated from Harvard University . He received his doctorate there in 1912 under Jeremiah Denis Matthias Ford with the thesis Don José Echegaray. A study in modern Spanish drama . As a journalist, translator from Romance languages ​​and from Yiddish , as editor and author, he has published numerous works, both scientific and popular, many in the Little Blue Books paperback series published in Girard (Kansas) .
