Isaac Sarpong (born January 30, 1975 ) is a former Ghanaian football player .

Career

In 1991 the 16-year-old striker came from SV Wiesbaden to the then second division club 1. FSV Mainz 05 . In the 1993/94 season he completed eleven second division games for Mainz, and was used only once in the next season. He spent the 1995/96 season with the regional division SC Neukirchen ; he played there 19 times in the league (two goals) and was used in the first round of the DFB Cup against his home club Mainz 05. The 05er won the game on penalties. For the next season Sarpong returned to Mainz, but was only used for the second team , with which he rose in 1999 from the Association League to the Oberliga Südwest. In 2000 he ended his career.
