Isabella Bruno

Isabella Bruno (born January 15, 1954 in Milan ) is an Italian documentary filmmaker .

Life

Bruno was a member of the Fedic Cineclub in Rome from 1974 to 1977 ; in 1973 she was assistant director for Gian Luigi Calderone . From 1975 she directed several short films and worked in the documentary film sector. In 1979 she directed her only fictional film , Affettuosamente ciak , which was made with the Gruppo Cinema Alice Guy , which was barely distributed . In 1980 she appeared again as an assistant editor.

From 1978 to 1984 she worked for RAI , then in Milan for Canale 5 and Italia Uno . Since 1999 she has lived and worked as a freelance filmmaker in Lago di Vico .
