Isaiah Harris Hughes

Isaiah Harris Hughes (born December 25, 1813 in Essex , † May 24, 1891 ) was an English magician, also known under the name Fakir of Ava .

He went to the USA where he became a magician and performed standard European tricks. In 1857 he got the idea to distribute gifts to his audience in his performances, which increased the influx. Around 1861 he began to train Harry Kellar .
