Isak Saba
Isak Mikal Saba (born November 15, 1875 in Nesseby , † June 1, 1921 ) was a Sami teacher and politician from Norway.
Saba was elected to the Storting as the first seed on October 11, 1906 , where he sat from 1907 to 1912 as a member of the Arbeiderparti (Fylke Finnmark ). In 1906, Saba wrote the Sami “national anthem” Sámi soga lávlla , which was officially confirmed at a 1986 Sami conference . Saba's birthday, November 15th, is an official Sami flag day .
