Isao Taniguchi ( Japanese 谷口 功 Taniguchi Isao ; born February 16, 1991 in Osaka ) is a former Japanese football player .
Career
Taniguchi learned to play football on the school team at Kagoshima Jitsugyo High School and the college team at Momoyama Gakuin University . He signed his first contract with Giravanz Kitakyushu in 2013 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . In 2014 he moved to Kagoshima United FC . At the end of the 2015 season, the club rose to the J3 League . In 2018 he was runner-up in the J3 League with the club and was promoted to the J2 League. For the club he completed 64 league games. At the end of 2019, he ended his career as a football player.
