SSV Hagen

The Ischelandstadion is a combined football and athletics stadium in the Westphalian city of Hagen . The stadium is the home ground of SSV Hagen .

The Ischeland Stadium was built in 1960 and has around 16,500 spectator seats, 800 of which are covered. The original capacity was 42,000 spectators. The attendance record is dated 1965 and is 32,000 visitors.

The stadium serves as the state athletics base and is equipped with a red Polytan running track.

In 2005, red seat shells were installed on the wooden benches of the covered main grandstand. In 2006, the wooden stands on the left (start stand) and right (finish stand) were removed from the main stand and the tartan track was renewed.
