Isekai Izakaya "Nobu" ( Japanese 異 世界 居酒屋 「の ぶ」 ) is a light novel series by Natsuya Semikawa with illustrations by Kururi . The series of novels has been published since 2014 and was first adapted as a manga in 2015 and as an anime series for Japanese television in 2018 .

content

The stories revolve around what happened in the Izakaya Nobu bar . The Japanese bar, run by the host Nobuyuki Yazawa and the waitress Shinobu Senke, has a door that leads into a strange world. Accordingly, the guests come from this medieval-European world and are mostly amazed at the exotic and unusual Japanese food that is on offer. But everyone, from the city guard to the tax collector to the priest, quickly finds pleasure in the bar and becomes regulars. The landlord and the girl came to the bar when they both left their previous employer and wanted to start their own business. When Shinobu asked for assistance at the temple, their new bar received the portal to the other world the next day.
