Isidor Harsieber

Isidor Harsieber (born August 19, 1891 in Kranichberg ; † December 20, 1964 ) was an Austrian farmer and politician ( ÖVP ). In 1949 Harsieber was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament .

Life

After elementary school, Harsieber attended the agricultural college in Feldsberg and did his military service between 1913 and 1918. In addition, Harsieber was an Italian prisoner of war. Harsieber took over a farm in 1926 and subsequently worked as a farmer in Gloggnitz . Harsieber was awarded the professional title of Economics Council.

Harsieber was involved in local politics and was a councilor in Gloggnitz from 1923 . Between 1934 and 1938 he held the office of mayor, after the Second World War he was vice mayor from 1945 to 1960. In addition, Harsieber held the position of district farmer chairman in 1946 and was ÖVP district party chairman from 1947 to 1951. Between May 19, 1949 and November 5, 1949, Harsieber represented the ÖVP in the Lower Austrian state parliament.
