Islamic Texts Society

The Islamic Texts Society ( ITS ) is a publisher founded in 1981 and registered as an educational charity in the United Kingdom (reg. No. 283832). The society produces translations of works of traditional importance to the Islamic faith and culture, including editions of previously unpublished manuscripts, and also promotes contemporary works on Islamic topics by scholars from all over the world. The society hopes that this will promote a better understanding of Islam among Muslims and non-Muslims. It is aimed at both laypeople and scholars in the field of Islamic studies.

Her authors and publications include, for example, Mohammad Hashim Kamali , Martin Lings ( Muhammad: his life based on the earliest sources ) and the publication of the works of Al-Ghazālī .
