The language Isoko is a edoide language , in the region of Isoko in Nigeria by the people of Isoko is spoken.

It is linguistically similar to the Urhobo language of the neighboring Urhobo people.

Michael A. Marioghae, who worked with Peter Ladefoged in 1962, made one of the few voice recordings of sample isoko words made available to the UCLA phonetics archive.
