Ital-Reding House
The Ital-Reding-Haus, also known as Ital-Reding-Hofstatt , is a country estate in Schwyz . It is named after the builder, the governor and panner Ital Reding (1573-1651) from the family of the same name.
description
Ital Reding had the representative country house built in 1609. He was a descendant of Ital Reding the elder and his son Ital Reding the younger . The two roof turrets and the gable as well as the entrance bay on pillars are additions from the year 1663. In 1982 a foundation was able to acquire and renovate the entire property Bethlehem (built in 1287) and a former utility building, which has been used as the Schwyz cantonal library since 1986 .
