Iulius Sacrovir
Iulius Sacrovir († 21 ) was a Gallic nobleman from the Haeduer tribe .
His family had Roman citizenship granted by Julius Caesar .
Together with Iulius Florus, he led the uprising of the Treveri and Haedu against the Roman Empire in AD 21 . After the suppression of the uprising in the Arduenna silva (Ardennes Forest) by an association of Treverian horsemen loyal to Rome, the later Ala Gallorum Indiana , under the command of Iulius Indus , Sacrovir committed suicide.
