Iulius Valens Licinianus
Iulius Valens Licinianus was the Roman counter-emperor in 250 .
Licinianus may have had the backing of the Roman Senate and part of the population when he was proclaimed emperor in Rome in 250 ; some researchers date his usurpation to the year 251. Licinianus was killed a few days after his elevation.
