Ivan Avanesjan

Ivan Choreni Avanesjan ( Armenian Իվան Խորենի Ավանեսյան ; born May 12, 1968 in Banadzor , Hadrut Province ) is an Armenian politician of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic .

Life

In 1985 Ivan Avanesjan finished his education, in 1989 he graduated from the distance department of the veterinary faculty at the agricultural vocational school. From 1986 to 1988 he served in the Soviet Army. He then served as head of the agricultural operation and main animal doctor in a to 1990 state farm engaged in Banadzor. From 1992 to 1994 he was first battalion commander, then deputy commander of the defense district.

Ivan Avanesjan is married and has two children.

Ivan Avanesjan is a member of the Free Homeland Party (Armenian asat hajreniq ). From 1994 to 1996 Ivan Avanesjan was first deputy to the chairman of the Foreign Affairs Department in Hadrut and then took over the post of chairman of the department. In 1997 he became director of the Regional Pension Insurance Center and in 1998 he was elected Mayor of Hadrut for seven years.

In the elections for the fourth National Assembly on June 19, 2005, he was elected as a member and has been a member of the “Heimat” parliamentary group ever since. During this legislative period he was a member of the Standing Committee on External Relations. In the elections for the fifth National Assembly on May 23, 2010, he won a mandate in the N 8 constituency. He is a member of the Standing Committee on Production and Production Infrastructure.
