Ivano Wegher is a former Italian ski jumper .

Career

Wegher began his international career with the start of the Four Hills Tournament in 1976/77 . However, he remained unsuccessful and only achieved lower placements. In 1977 he won the silver medal at the Italian championships behind Lido Tomasi . On December 30, 1979, he made his debut in the newly created Ski Jumping World Cup . However, he could not win any points in the World Cup either. In 1979, 1981 and 1982 he won bronze at the Italian championships in ski jumping. He ended his international ski jumping career when he started at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oslo in 1982 . There he reached the 47th place on the normal hill and 52nd place on the large hill.
