Ivica Krajač
Ivica Krajač (born April 2, 1938 in Belgrade ) is a singer, composer, lyricist and opera director,
He was a member of the band Kvartet 4M , founded in 1956 , within which he was nicknamed Mali (the little one).
He was noticed beyond national borders as a Yugoslav interpreter at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1969 . Due to the rules of the time, which only allowed individual performers or duos, the Kvartet 4M, following the example of the Yugoslav contribution of the previous year, the Dubrovački Trubaduri , officially entered as Ivan & M's , so Ivica Krajač as the individual performer, the rest of the band as the background choir was true. With the song Pozdrav svijetu , text by Milan Lentić , he was thirteenth. He took part in the contest twice, in 1971 as a composer and in 1972 as a lyricist.
In 1975 he wrote the rock opera Gubec-beg together with Karlo Metikoš . He later worked as a director for operas and musicals.
