Ivo Kolbe

Ivo Kolbe (born December 30, 1977 ) is a former German American football player.

career

The Kolbe used in the defense won in 1997 with the Hamburg Blue Devils the Euro Bowl . From 1998 to 2000 and in the 2002 season he was in the service of the Kiel Baltic Hurricanes . In 2004 he was reactivated for the Bundesliga by the Hamburg Blue Devils. In 2005 Kolbe strengthened the defense of the Kiel Baltic Hurricanes again.

From 2001 to the end of the 2007 season, so partly while he was still active as a player, he headed the Elmshorn Fighting Pirates  as head coach. In 2008, Kolbe and Stefan Mau became the head coach of the Norderstedt regional league team Nordic Wolves.

From the 2010 season he was a member of the coaching staff of the Kiel Baltic Hurricanes and supervised the defense line under head coach Patrick Esume . In 2010 Kolbe became German champions with the Kiel team. He worked on the fjord until the end of the 2012 season.

From the 2013 season Kolbe strengthened the coaching staff of the Elmshorn Fighting Pirates again, this time with the task of coordinating defense work. In 2019 he contributed to the Holsteiners' first ascent to the top German league, GFL . In October 2019, Kolbe, who worked full-time in the security industry, gave up his position in Elmshorn for reasons of time.
