Ivo Marković

Ivo Marković (* 1950 in Susanj ) is a Croatian Roman Catholic theologian .

Life

Marković studied Roman Catholic theology at the Franciscan College in Sarajevo and at the University in Zagreb . He became a member of the Franciscan Order . In 1976 he was ordained a Catholic priest. After graduating, he worked as a Catholic parish priest. He is a professor of Catholic theology at the University of Sarajevo . After the end of the Bosnian War , he founded the interreligious peace-building choir Pontanima in Sarajevo. In 2011 this choir received the Pax Christi International Peace Prize .
