Iwa-zima ( Japanese 岩 島 'rock island' ) is a prominently protruding island off the Prince Harald coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It belongs to the Flatvær archipelago and is located in front of the northeastern end of East Ongul Island in the northeastern part of Lützow-Holm Bay .

Norwegian cartographers mapped them in 1946 using aerial photographs of the Lars Christensen Expedition in 1936/37 . Japanese scientists gave it the profane name in 1962.
