Ivan Strazimir of Bulgaria

Iwan Strazimir ( Bulgarian Иван Страцимир , scientific transliteration Ivan Stracimir ; also Srazimir ; * around 1324 in Lovech , Bulgaria; † 1397 or 1398 in Bursa , Ottoman Empire) was Tsar of Bulgaria in Vidin from 1356 . He was the son of the Bulgarian Tsar Ivan Alexander and Teodora Basarab .

Ivan Strazimir ruled as the last Bulgarian tsar from 1356 to 1396/1397 over the kingdom of Vidin , which fell under Bayezid I. under Ottoman rule. Since 2010 carries Sratsimir Hill its name, a hill in Graham Land in Antarctica.
