Izera (car brand)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Izera is a car brand that was founded by the Polish concern ElectroMobility Poland. The first two fully electric models were presented on July 28, 2020.

history

ElectroMobility Poland is an amalgamation of several state-owned energy companies from Poland. The brand name is inspired by the Iser (Polish "Izera"), a tributary of the Elbe in the Czech-Polish border area and is intended to ensure a high international recognition value. Production of the first two electric models, the T100 (a hatchback sedan ) and Z100 (an SUV ), is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2023. The Italian company Torino Design is responsible for the design. With Tadeusz Jelec, a long-time Jaguar designer is also involved. The new plant is to be built in the Silesian region and will provide around 3,000 new jobs.

Models

Both models are designed to be affordable, family-friendly and practical vehicles. You will have all the standard equipment features. Little information about the technical data has been published so far. Both vehicles should have a range of 400 km and accelerate to 100 km / h in less than 8 seconds, with a top speed of 160 km / h. All-wheel drive versions will also be available. Elements such as the body platform, batteries and electric motors are purchased together with licenses, but ultimately 60% of the parts are to be produced domestically.
