The Jämtland HF (also known as Jämtland Hockey ) was a Swedish ice hockey club from Östersund . The team played in Division 1 from 2003 to 2006 .
history
The Jämtland HF was created in 2003 when the men's team at Östersund IK was outsourced . The team took part in the third division Division 1 from the 2003/04 season . Following the 2005/06 season , the team formed a game community with their city neighbor Brunflo IK under the name Östersund / Brunflo IF . This took place from 2006 to 2011 in Division 1. Then the license for participation in Division 1 was transferred to Östersunds IK. Since the 2012/13 season , Brunflo IK and Östersunds IK have again had their own men's team in Division 1.
