Gerardo Alimane Alminaza
Gerardo Alimane Alminaza (born August 4, 1959 in San Jose ) is Bishop of San Carlos .
Life
Gerardo Alimane Alminaza was ordained a priest on April 29, 1986 .
Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on May 29, 2008 titular bishop of Maximiana in Byzacena and auxiliary bishop in Jaro . The Apostolic Nuncio in the Philippines , Edward Joseph Adams , donated him episcopal ordination on August 4 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Vicente Macanan Navarra , Bishop of Bacolod , and Angel N. Lagdameo , Archbishop of Jaro. The inauguration in the Archdiocese of Jaro took place the following day.
Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of San Carlos on September 14, 2013 . On November 18 of the same year, Alminaza was introduced to the office.
