Järva IS
Järva IS was a Swedish sports club from Stockholm , best known for its ice hockey department .
history
The association was founded on November 18, 1906. In 1922 took ice hockey team of the Järva IS at the Träningsserien i ishockey part, which was then the highest Swedish league and in preparation for the Swedish championship served. The team won only one of their five games and finished in seventh and last place. The game against IK Göta had to be canceled due to the poor condition of the ice surface.
The athletics department of Järva IS, for which Nils Engdahl competed, was also known.
