Jozef Brejza
Józef Brejza (* 1936 in Kończyce Małe , Poland ) is a Polish horn player .
Brejza studied from 1952 to 1957 Horn at the Silesian Conservatory in Katowice ( Katowice ) in the years 1952-57 when Adam Przybyła . After his training he played in the City Philharmonic in Katowice. Then he was principal horn in the Katowice Radio Orchestra.
He has lived in Basel since 1960 . There he is a member of the Basel Orchestra Society. Together with the Zurich Chamber Orchestra , he published a record recording of Othmar Schoeck's horn concerto .

- 1st prize in the National Music Competition in Warsaw (1954)
- Silver medal at the Moscow International Music Competition (1957)
- 2nd prize in the international music competition in Geneva (1960)
