Jörg Broekel

Jörg Brökel (* in Bielefeld ) is a German journalist and moderator. From April 1, 2010 to June 30, 2013, he was editor-in-chief of Radio Herford .

Life

Brökel worked for the WDR studio in Bielefeld . Further journalistic stations were Radio Bielefeld , Hessischer Rundfunk , ZDF and the current hour of WDR. In 2003 he completed an advanced journalism course at the Free University of Berlin with the title Lic. Rer. publ. from.

From 1996 to 1999 Brökel presented villages in Ostwestfalen-Lippe in the WDR series “Dorfplatz Schlag 10”. At Hessischer Rundfunk and Westdeutscher Rundfunk he works as a reporter in front of the camera in the evening program. From 2003 to 2010 he moderated the report series “Vor Ort” for ZDF. People and institutions were presented in a four- to five-part report for a week on the ZDF program “ Volle Kanne ”.

As part of the “Hats off!” Honors of the North Rhine-Westphalian state commissioner for people with disabilities , he moderated the interviews with the honorees in 2008 and 2009.

For the Bertelsmann Foundation, Brökel works as a text author on the documentation "Future of Educational Aids".

Brökel is currently working again as a reporter in front of the camera for WDR.

Broekel has a son.
