Jörg Dornau

Jörg Dornau (* 1970 ) is a German politician ( AfD ) and member of the state parliament of the AfD in Saxony .

Career

Dornau is a trained agricultural master and is self-employed. He lives in Rötha .

He is a member of the Leipzig Land District Association of Alternative for Germany. For the election campaign he received personal support from the Thuringian AfD state chairman Björn Höcke . Dornau was a member of the right-wing AfD group " Der Flügel ". Dornau ran as a direct candidate in the Leipzig Land 3 constituency for the state elections in Saxony in 2019 , where he achieved 29.5% and was defeated by the CDU politician Svend-Gunnar Kirmes (29.9%). Dornau, however, moved into the Saxon state parliament over 24th place on the state list of the AfD Saxony .
