IC 458 is an elliptical radio galaxy of the Hubble type E / S0 in the constellation Lynx in the northern sky . It is around 292 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 75,000 light years.
The galaxies IC 459 , IC 460 , IC 461 , IC 463 are located in the same area of ​​the sky .
