IC 469 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBab in the constellation Cepheus in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 100 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 65,000 light years in diameter. Together with NGC 2268 , NGC 2276 , NGC 2300 , IC 455 , IC 499 and IC 512 u. a. it forms the NGC 2276 group .

The object was discovered on September 14, 1890 by William Frederick Denning .
