Jörg Müller-Volbehr
Jörg Müller-Volbehr (born April 1, 1936 in Bremen ; † December 2, 2010 ) was a German canon lawyer.
Career
Müller-Volbehr was regional church councilor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Braunschweig from 1964 to 1971 , then until 1975 senior church councilor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bavaria in Munich. In 1971 he received his doctorate in Göttingen, followed by his habilitation in Munich in 1974 and in 1976 he decided to devote himself entirely to teaching and science. From 1978 until his retirement he was professor in the law faculty at the University of Marburg .
The focus of his academic work was state church law and evangelical church law.
