Jörg Neumann

Jörg Neumann (born December 2, 1941 in Berlin ) is a former German athlete who - starting for the Federal Republic - was successful in the 400-meter hurdles in the 1960s . At the European Championships in 1962 he won the silver medal in a personal best of 50.3 s.

His best placement at the German championships in 1962 was a second place behind Helmut Janz . Jörg Neumann belonged to the sports club ASV Berlin . In his competition time he was 1.85 m tall and 81 kg.
