Frank Siebeck
Frank Siebeck (born August 17, 1949 in Schkeuditz ) is a German athlete and Olympic participant who - starting for the GDR - was a successful 110-meter hurdler in the late 1960s and 1970s . His most significant success is the victory at the European Championships in Helsinki in 1971 in 14.0 s, for which he was awarded the Patriotic Order of Merit. After retiring from active competitive sport, training as a trainer and studying sports education, Frank Siebeck worked as a sports teacher at the Anton-Philipp-Reclam-Schule in Leipzig . His son Mark Siebeck (* 1975) is a volleyball player.
