Leszek Wodzyński

Leszek Wodzyński (born February 16, 1946 in Warsaw ; † September 18, 1999 there ) was a Polish hurdler who specialized in the 110-meter distance .

Athletic career

At the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, he was sixth.

At the European Athletics Indoor Championships he was fifth in the 60 m hurdles in 1973 in Rotterdam and fourth in 1974 in Gothenburg .

His greatest successes were winning the bronze medal at the European Athletics Championships in Rome in 1974 , where he ran behind the Belgian Guy Drut and his younger brother Mirosław Wodzyński , and winning the 60 m hurdles at the European Indoor Championships in 1975 in Katowice.

He was Polish champion over 110 m hurdles four times (1972, 1973, 1975, 1976).
