Mirosław Wodzyński

Mirosław Wodzyński ( Mirosław Zenon Wodzyński ; born July 13, 1951 in Warsaw ) is a former Polish hurdler who specialized in the 110-meter distance .

Athletic career

At the European Athletics Championships in Helsinki in 1971 , he was fourth.

In 1972 he was sixth at the European Indoor Athletics Championships in Grenoble over 50 m hurdles and reached the semi-finals at the Olympic Games in Munich . At the Indoor European Championships in 1973 in Rotterdam, he was fourth over 60 m hurdles.

In 1974 he won silver at the European Indoor Championships in Gothenburg over 60 m hurdles and at the European Championships in Rome , where he ran behind the Belgian Guy Drut and in front of his older brother Leszek Wodzyński .

At the Indoor European Championships in 1975 in Katowice, he was fifth.

In 1974 he became Polish champion over 110 m hurdles outdoors and in 1974 and 1975 over 60 m hurdles indoors.
