Jörg Zager (born January 18, 1962 in Bremerhaven ) is a German administrative clerk and politician ( SPD ). He was elected a member of the Bremen Citizenship in May 2019 .

biography

education and profession

After graduating from high school, Zager trained as an administrative clerk. Since 1981 he has been employed by the Bremerhaven municipal authorities, most recently in the social welfare office.
He is married and has two children.

politics

Zager has been a member of the SPD in the Bremerhaven-Lehe-Nord local association since 2002, where he is represented on the board and has been deputy chairman of the local association since 2018. In 2018 he was elected to third place on the Bremerhaven list of citizenship elections by the SPD and in May 2019 a member of the citizenship.

He is a member of the Performa Nord operations committee, the Bremen Citizenship Board (secretary), the committee for port matters, the controlling committee, the budget and finance committee, the audit committee and the deputation for children and education.
