Jørn Kjølaas is a Norwegian pool player .

Career

Jørn Kjølaas was four times Norwegian junior champion. In 1993 he won the title in 14/1 endless , in 1994 in the disciplines 8-ball , 9-ball and 14/1 endless. At the European Junior Championships in 1993 he won the silver medal in 14/1 after a final defeat against Andreas Roschkowsky and the gold medal with the Norwegian junior team. A year later , he became an endless European junior champion in 14/1 with a final victory against Alexander Scholz . In 1994 Kjølaas was also Junior World Champion , in 1995 he was third at the Junior World Championships. In 1995 he won his first medal in the Norwegian men's championship with third place in the 8-ball . At the men's European championship in 1996 , he won the bronze medal in 9-ball. In the same year he won his only national championship title with the men in 9-ball. In 1998 he reached the final of the 8-ball competition of the Norwegian championship and lost there to Malvin Bjelland .
