Jørn Neergaard Larsen (born February 11, 1949 in Nørre Vedby) is a Danish politician of the Venstre party and in the cabinet Lars Løkke Rasmussen II Labor Minister.

Life

After leaving school, Jørn Neergaard Larsen studied law at the University of Copenhagen , graduating in 1975 with a master's degree . He then worked for two years in the administration of the University of Roskilde before he was head of the Danish Ministry of the Environment from 1977 to 1982. From 1982 to 1996 he was head of the organization DJØF, which works for lawyers and law students, and JØP, a pension fund for lawyers. From 1996 to 2015 he chaired the Association of Danish Employees. He was also a member of various boards for lawyers' associations and pension funds.

He has been Minister of Labor since June 28, 2015.
