Júlio Moreira
Júlio Moreira (* 1930 in Lisbon ) is a Portuguese writer.
Life
He is completing a degree in agronomy and architecture . In the 1950s he began to be active in literature. From the 1960s, his works are published, mainly in literary magazines.
His greatest success so far is the book Requiem for a Villain , which bears the original Portuguese title A barragem ( The Dam ). The Encyclopædia Britannica called him the most original novel of 1993.
