The Jewish school in Altenkunstadt , a municipality on the Upper Main in the Upper Franconian district of Lichtenfels in Bavaria , was founded in 1809 as an elementary school.

In 1869 it was converted into a Jewish elementary school. In the school building at Judenhof , which is next to the synagogue , there was a teacher's apartment and a ritual bath ( mikveh ). The teacher was also active as a prayer leader and slaughterer . The Jewish school was also attended by the Jewish children from the neighboring towns of Maineck and Fassoldshof .

As fewer and fewer Jewish families lived in Altenkunstadt, the Jewish school was closed in 1920 and the few Jewish children were now taught in the Catholic elementary school.
