The Jewish mourning hall in Mikulov (German Nikolsburg ), a South Moravian town in the Czech Republic , was built at the end of the 19th century at the western foot of the Kozí vrch ( Gaisberg ). The funeral hall as part of the Jewish cemetery in Mikulov since 1988 a protected cultural monument.

The higher demands that were placed on the ritual of parting with the dead over time led the Jewish community to build a large mourning hall in 1898. It was built according to plans by the architect Max Fleischer (1841–1905) in an eclectic style.

An extensive renovation of the building was carried out between 2000 and 2006.

On the facade of the mourning hall a plaque was unveiled in May 2009 for Judah Löw (around 1525–1609), who worked in Mikulov as the regional rabbi of Moravia from 1553 to 1573 .
