The Jewish cemetery Hemer is a Jewish cemetery in Hemer , a town in the Märkisches Kreis ( North Rhine-Westphalia ). The cemetery is located at Am Perick .

history

The Jewish community of Hemer built its own cemetery around 1800. The cemetery still has 25 tombstones ( mazewot ) and the last burial was in 1955.

In the cemetery there is a memorial stone for the Jewish citizens from Hemer who were killed in the time of National Socialism .
