Jewish cemetery (Uchte)
The Jewish cemetery Uchte is a Jewish cemetery in Uchte ( Nienburg / Weser district , Lower Saxony ). It is a protected cultural monument .
description
There are 32 Jewish and 14 Russian graves in the 675 m² cemetery in the former municipality of Hamme . There are 33 gravestones on it for the Jewish deceased from Uchte and the surrounding area from the period 1855 to 1933. The cemetery has been under the care of the State Association of Jewish Communities of Lower Saxony since the 1960s ; today it is owned by the community of Uchte.
