Jewish cemetery in Frýdek-Místek

The Jewish cemetery Frýdek-Místek is a Jewish cemetery in the Czech town of Frýdek-Místek (German Friedeck-Mistek , also Friedek-Mistek ) in Okres Frýdek-Místek in the Moravskoslezský kraj region .

Jewish families settled here from the middle of the 19th century. In 1882 the cemetery was established in Frýdek. The mourning hall has classical architectural elements. The last funerals took place in the early 1950s. In the following years it was damaged and some gravestones were removed. The cemetery building is now used as a prayer hall by the Seventh-day Adventists .
