The Gangelt Jewish cemetery is a Jewish cemetery in Gangelt , a municipality in the Heinsberg district in North Rhine-Westphalia . Before setting up their own cemetery, the Jews from Gangelt buried their dead in the old cemetery in Heinsberg .
The cemetery at Wirtsberg on the B 56 was occupied from 1877 to 1937. There are 31 tombstones on it . At the beginning of May 2010 almost all of the gravestones in the cemetery were knocked over when the cemetery was desecrated. On July 16, 2019, the cemetery was desecrated again.
