The Randerath Jewish Cemetery is located in Randerath , a district of Heinsberg in the Heinsberg district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

In the Jewish cemetery , which was occupied from 1853 to 1930, there are still seven tombstones ( mazewot ). Only a few of the inscriptions are still legible and of some gravestones only the plinths remain. The cemetery was entered on May 28, 2008 under the number 122 in the list of monuments of the city of Heinsberg.

The very hidden cemetery in the street “Sandberg” can be reached about 100 m away via a staircase and a narrow grass path. At the unlocked entrance there is a sign indicating the burial place.

Before that there was already a Jewish cemetery on the outskirts towards Dremmen . In 1855 it had to give way to road expansion. The dead were reburied at the Sandberg. During the National Socialist era , the cemetery was leveled and used as a garden.
